Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Nissan GT-R is available in two trims: the Premium and the NISMO. The Premium sits atop 20-inch wheels and features a hybrid unibody structure, a body-colored rear spoiler, and front fenders designed to optimize air management around the wheels for enhanced aerodynamics. You'll also find LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, and power-folding mirrors with heating. The NISMO, which takes its name from Nissan Motorsports, has black-painted 20-inch wheels and a NISMO aerodynamic body design consisting of carbon-fiber fascias, side sills, and a rear spoiler. Exterior color options include Solid Red, Bayside Blue, and Super Silver.
Engine (Power)
Nissan equips the GT-R Premium with a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 capable of producing 565 horsepower and 467 pound-feet of torque. If you go with the NISMO, you'll enjoy a powerful V-6 that generates 600 horsepower and 481 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
The GT-R's six-speed dual-clutch transmission employs separate clutches for the odd-numbered gears and even-numbered gears so that when the car is in an odd-numbered gear, the adjacent even-numbered gear is "pre-selected" and ready to shift immediately, ensuring quick, smooth acceleration. With the GT-R's selectable modes, you can engage R-Mode for maximum performance, Normal Mode for everyday driving, and Special Modes for long-distance driving.
Interior
Inside the GT-R, you'll find seating for four, with ample headroom and legroom for everyone. The Premium features leather-appointed front seats with synthetic suede inserts, while the NISMO has RECARO leather-appointed front seats. Both models offer an eight-way power driver's seat, front seats with heating, and dual-zone automatic temperature control featuring an in-cabin microfilter. You can also take advantage of a driver-configurable multi-functional display system with graphical readouts of vehicle and driving data displayed on six screens. The NissanConnect infotainment system lets you stream music, get traffic updates, and make hands-free phone calls.
Safety Features
The 2023 Nissan GT-R comes equipped with vehicle dynamic control, which helps you maintain your steering path and can correct oversteering or understeering, enabling you to drive with superior power and control. The GT-R's traction control system can sense drive-wheel spin and responds by reducing the throttle, which helps the GT-R regain grip and maintain control. With the tire pressure monitoring system, you'll never have to guess whether your tires are safe to drive on because the system gives you real-time tire pressure information. Other safety features include a rearview monitor, hill start assist, and an advanced air bag system.
