The 2023 LEAF is available in two trims: S and SV Plus. The S model's flowing lines and athletic curves make it look like it's constantly in motion. This distinctive appearance is accentuated by a beautifully sculpted grille featuring an illuminated emblem, halogen headlights, and 16-inch steel wheels with eye-catching covers. Engine (Power)
With the 2023 LEAF, you get the power and efficiency you need for every adventure. The S comes equipped with a 110-kW electric motor capable of producing 147 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque. Its 40-kWh lithium-ion battery gives the S a 149-mile driving range.
If you go with the SV Plus, you'll enjoy a 160-kW electric motor that generates 214 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque. Powered by a 60-kWh lithium-ion battery, the SV Plus can go for 212 miles before you need to charge it. Both batteries in the LEAF lineup are compatible with 120-volt outlets, 240-volt Level 2 chargers, and 480-volt quick-charging stations.
Performance
The 2023 LEAF's incredible all-electric performance ensures that you have an exciting ride every time you take the wheel. As soon as your foot hits the accelerator, the LEAF unleashes the full power of its electric drivetrain, giving you instant acceleration. The LEAF's floor-mounted battery pack creates a low center of gravity, reducing body roll and enabling smooth handling. With regenerative braking, excess energy flows back to the battery so that your LEAF's battery doesn't drain as quickly.
Interior
Inside the 2023 LEAF, you'll find seating for five and a total cargo space measuring 30 cubic feet. The LEAF's cloth seating surfaces are comfy and easy to clean, so you don't have to fret about spills or other messes. With the S, you get a six-way manual driver's seat, while the SV Plus gives you an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat with two-way lumbar support. The SV Plus also features heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Both LEAF trims support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, giving you access to playlists, navigation assistance, and hands-free phone operability.
Safety Features
With its safety features, the 2023 Nissan LEAF helps you confidently arrive at every destination. An automatic emergency braking system monitors your speed and the distance between your LEAF and other vehicles, warning you when you need to slow down and applying the brakes if necessary.
