Trim Levels (Exterior)
You have five Rogue trims to choose from: the S, SV, Midnight Edition, SL, and the top-tier Platinum. New for 2023, the Midnight Edition builds on the SV trim platform by adding 18-inch gloss-black wheels, black exterior accents, and black roof rails, giving this Rogue trim a mysterious appearance. Select trims can come with the available panoramic sunroof and a hands-free power liftgate.
All trims of the 2023 Rogue have a sporty look with a uniquely shaped front grill bracketed by slim LED headlights. Underneath the headlights, you'll find massive rectangular-shaped daytime running lights embedded in the air scoops. The Nissan Rogue draws your eye along the sloped roof that ends with the squared-off rear hatch, adding to the sporty appearance of the mid-size SUV.
Engine (Power)
This mid-size SUV has plenty of power. Under the hood of all trims, you'll find a 1.5-liter DOHC 12-valve Variable Compression Turbo three-cylinder engine. You'll feel the get-up-and-go of this mighty engine that produces 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque. The Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission with Manual Mode pairs with the engine for a smooth shifting experience.
Performance
The 2023 Rogue comes standard with front-wheel drive, but you can opt for the available traction-grabbing Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system with the Drive Mode Dial. This terrain management system allows the car to adjust to varied terrain and driving conditions. You'll notice how smooth the Rogue handles with its independent strut front and multilink rear suspension system. You also get front and rear stabilizer bars for added stability and control, especially when cornering.
Interior
With two rows of seats, up to five people ride comfortably inside the 2023 Nissan Rogue. Seating surfaces range from cloth trim to quilted semi-aniline leather-appointed seats found on the Platinum trim. Luxury features for the higher-tier trims include power-adjustable heated front seats, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, and dual-zone automatic temperature control with an in-cabin microfilter. With flexible seating configurations and Nissan's Divide-N-Hide cargo management system, you can get up to 74.1 cubic feet of storage space.
Nissan's infotainment system comes with an 8-inch or 9-inch touch screen with voice recognition and available navigation. Both displays come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, and the Platinum trim has Alexa built in. A six-speaker sound system comes standard, or you can enjoy listening to audio through the 10-speaker Bose premium audio system on the top-tier trims.
Safety Features
You'll have peace of mind that your 2023 Rogue comes equipped with Nissan's Safety Shield 360 driver-assist technology. Key features of this safety system include a pre-collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a lane detection system. You'll also appreciate having rear automatic braking, automatic high-beam headlight assistance, and traffic sign recognition.
