Cabin Comfort

In both vehicles, you’ll enjoy the cushioned support of the Nissan exclusive Zero Gravity seats, designed to provide a comfortable driver and passenger experience even on long treks. While the Rogue and Murano have similar interior features, only the Murano has fully climate-controlled (heated and cooled) front seats.

Interior Space

The Rogue comes out ahead of the Murano for cargo space, even though it’s technically a smaller vehicle. It features nearly 32 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats alone, which expands to 36.5 cubic feet if you choose the Platinum or SL trims.

Across the lineup, the Rogue has more than 74 cubic feet of cargo space with the seats folded flat. If you’re looking for more passenger space, the midsize Murano comes out slightly ahead of the compact Rogue.

Power and Performance

You’ll get a bit more acceleration and horsepower from the Murano, which is equipped with a 260-horsepower V6. The Rogue has the power of a three-cylinder engine that gets 201 horsepower. Both engines come with a fuel-saving continuously variable automatic transmission. You can upgrade both the 2023 Murano and Rogue with all-wheel drive.

Technology

Both vehicles have a generous array of standard tech features as well as customizable options. They come with 8-inch touchscreen infotainment systems that support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with Bluetooth, satellite radio, and two USB ports. In addition, the Rogue adds Amazon Alexa Auto as an available feature for 2023.

Safety Features

Both the 2023 Nissan Rogue and Murano are reliable vehicles and come with the latest safety technologies. Standard driver assistance equipment in the Rogue includes parking sensors, a rearview camera, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, pedestrian and cyclist detection, driver attention monitoring, lane departure warning, and blind spot monitoring.

The Murano comes with all these standard driver assistance features, plus smart headlights with automatic high beams. However, the Rogue has a few extra optional features, including ProPILOT Assist, which includes Intelligent Cruise Control and Steering Assist systems that work with the car’s navigation system.
