The new 2022 Nissan Armada is as decadent a driving experience as drivers will find in its class, but don’t think that means it doesn’t pack all the power you’ll need to haul and tow whatever you need to on your next adventure! While the powerful drivetrain and luxurious driving experience are the same across all of the Armada’s trim levels, there are some exciting features you can find at each level that we wanted to show off. Armada S
The Armada S is the base model of the new Armada, but that doesn’t mean it lacks features. The S is equipped with a muscular 5.6-liter V-8 engine with 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque, so even at its base trim, it’s going to deliver all the power you need. Inside, the S trim comes with an easy-to-use 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay integration, and a slew of impressive safety features, like Nissan’s intelligent blind-spot intervention.
Armada SV
The next trim level up is the SV, which builds on the impressive drivetrain and features of the S. The SV trim includes upgrades to heated front seats (and leatherette seating all-around), stylish dark gray roof rails, rear privacy glass, and outside mirrors with heating and a power folding feature when not in use. The infotainment system gets an upgrade to include wireless charging, as well!
Armada SL
The SL trim ups the luxuriousness of the Armada experience in a couple of critical ways that we think drivers will love. It adds a power moonroof, upgrades the audio system to a 13-speaker system by Bose, and adds 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. The SL also has a memory system for the seats and climate control, LED fog lights, a remote start system, and a power liftgate.
Armada Midnight Edition
The Midnight Edition takes all of the luxurious features of the Armada SL listed above and combines them with a beautiful all-black exterior badging that is guaranteed to turn heads on the road. Inside the Midnight Edition, the stylish upgrades include matching all-black floor mats, second-row captain’s chairs that you can fold down, and a second-row center console with cup holders. It’s a beautifully styled trim level inside and out!
Armada Platinum
The highest trim level available on the 2022 Armada, the Platinum trim is truly the definition of a luxury driving experience. The Platinum combines all of the features of the SL trim with second-row entertainment systems for passengers, quilted leather seats, 22-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, a windshield wiper deicer, and rain-sensing wipers, among other features. It’s the top-shelf trim of an already luxurious vehicle, and it’s well-worth reaching for the top shelf!
